Photographic Printing
To ensure the absolute highest quality in large format lenticular graphics, we create our images with laser-photographic
perfection using a LightJet laser-photo imager. Benefits of laser-photo printing include sharper images, more vibrant colors,
consistent RGB color matching, and true continuous tone images. If you've ever seen a faded ink jet print in a lightbox, you
understand the difference. And printing our own images in-house allows the highest levels of quality control and prompt
turnaround on your schedule. Every job done right, and delivered on time.
UV Litho (Sheet Fed) Printing Presses
Our sheet-fed press capabilities are unmatched in the lenticular industry. We have three presses dedicated to our lenticular
production, each customized for our very special needs and each running UV inks. Two KBA presses (a seven deck KBA 64-inch
and a five color Genius 52 UV) plus a 6 deck Man Roland 500 comprise our arsenal of cutting-edge litho equipment. Don't
settle for low-quality digital press output--it just does not make for good lenticular. With Big3D you get exceptional litho
quality with some of the most aggressive pricing in the industry. The result: uncompromising value for you or your clients.
UV Flatbed Press
One of the most advanced flatbed presses in the world, our Luscher JetPrint 3530UV brings high resolution printing to
large-format and outdoor lenticular applications. Employing UV inks and printing at unprecedented resolutions, our flatbed
press images directly to the lenticular lens, or on almost any substrate (up to 2-inches thick) with an imaging area 10'x12'
in size. Yes, those are foot marks!
World's Highest Resolution Platesetter
Our Direct-to-Plate workflow features the Creo Magnus 5183 VLF CTP platesetter. It images plates at up to 9600 dpi (the
highest available in a civilian setting), offering unprecedented imaging accuracy.
PMC1250P Cup Forming Machine
Developed in conjunction with Paper Machinery Corporation, Big3D is the first in the world to produce 3D/Motion lenticular
cups in the classic, rolled-lip style.
